Specifications of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7

The South Korean Company Samsung unveiled their new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 before Apple – their main competitor – unveiled their new phones. Apple usually releases their phones in September, but Samsung’s announcement came early because of the heated competition in the smartphone world.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has many new specifications like iris recognition, the ability to create to separate accounts – for two numbers – on the same device, in addition to being water and dust resistant, and the ability to use the S Pen under water.

We must point that the Galaxy Note series are specialized in their relatively big size and having a pen allowing users more freedom when operating different applications.

It is well known to most people that innovation is what differentiates between different smartphones, and it became the ultimate competition standard between different smartphone manufactures. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has the dimensions of 153.5x79.9x7.9 millimeters, and a weighs 169 grams (5.96 ounces).

It has an octa-core Exynos 8890 processor with an internal storage of 64 gigabytes and a 4 gigabyte RAM.

Galaxy Note 7 also has a rear camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels and a 5 megapixels front camera. It also has a non-removable 3500 mAh battery with fast and wireless charging features.

It will be available in the market in the following colors: blue, black, silver, and gold. It will also be available in two versions: the first supports one sim card, and the second supports two sim cards (dual sim). Both versions can also support the addition of Micro SD memory card – up to 256 gigabytes. Galaxy Note 7 will be powered by a 6.0 Android version, also known as Marshmallow.

What is Samsung Expecting from Galaxy Note 7?

Samsung’s announcement of their new phone Galaxy Note 7 came before Apple’s new phone’s announcement; as Apple usually reveals their phones in the beginning of September of each year. Many experts see that Samsung announced their phone during the calmness that came over the smartphone industry after last April. It was also after other companies announced their phones and they grabbed the chance before Apple did to increase and boost their sales during the third quarter of the year.

There is no doubt that Samsung Galaxy Note 7 added a lot to the smartphone industry which pushed experts to think about how Apple will be able to add all the innovative specifications in their iPhone 7 especially under the two company’s heated competition.
